Founded in June 2017 and headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands, SemiBlocks specializes in producing semiconductor-based crystal oscillators for 5G, Atomic clocks and PMT. The product contains a chip developed by SemiBlocks, that meaures the signal of the cristal oscillator –  responding to the signals of the crystal the chip generates a stable output frequency. The crystal is sensitive to changes of temperature and stress. Unique to the SemiBlocks product is that is able to compensate for changes in temperature and stress of the crystal, by measuring the internal state of the crystal through the Smart-Xtal® technology.

  2. Sensitivity to Environmental Changes: OCXOs are prone to performance degradation due to temperature fluctuations and mechanical stress.
  3. Size and Weight Constraints: The need for ovens in OCXOs leads to larger and heavier components, limiting their application in compact devices.
