NL@MWC and Telecom Society Strengthen Partnership

NL@MWC is pleased to welcome Telecom Society as a new partner. At the same time, Ecosystem Services, the organisation behind NL@MWC, joins Telecom Society as a corporate member.

The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared focus on innovation, connectivity, digitalisation and knowledge sharing across the telecom and digital ecosystem. Both organisations connect professionals, companies, knowledge institutions and public organisations to exchange knowledge, explore new technologies and strengthen collaboration.

Strengthening an existing collaboration

Ecosystem Services and Telecom Society have already worked together for several years. One of the most visible examples is the Telecom Society Pitch Event, where innovative startups and solutions from the telecom ecosystem get the opportunity to showcase their innovation.

The winner of the pitch event receives the opportunity to participate as a partner of the Dutch pavilion at MWC Barcelona, providing international visibility and access to one of the world’s leading events for connectivity and digital technology.

The partnership further strengthens this collaboration and creates opportunities for new joint activities, knowledge sharing and community initiatives.

Connecting the Dutch telecom and digital ecosystem

Ecosystem Services is known for developing and facilitating public-private technology ecosystems, with collaboration, trust and knowledge sharing at their core. The organisation is the initiator of several innovation, marketing and knowledge programmes, including the Netherlands programme at MWC Barcelona and the community around it in the Netherlands through NL@MWC, the Connectivity Ecosystem North Sea (CENS) and PRIMMA, focused on market alignment for private networks.

Telecom Society brings together professionals and organisations from across the telecom and digital domain. Through its independent community, members exchange knowledge and experiences, stay up to date with the latest developments and explore emerging technologies.

The strong overlap between the communities of NL@MWC, Ecosystem Services and Telecom Society provides a solid foundation for further collaboration.

Looking ahead

Mark Beermann, Managing Director of Ecosystem Services, says:

“We highly value Telecom Society’s content-driven and community-focused approach and recognise the strong overlap between our communities. We are pleased to formalise this relationship through a mutual partnership and look forward to a long-term collaboration that strengthens both organisations.”

Omar Benameur, Board Member of Telecom Society, adds:

“We are delighted to welcome Ecosystem Services as a corporate member of Telecom Society. Their activities strongly align with our mission to connect and inspire professionals, companies and knowledge institutions across the telecom and digital domain. We particularly value our longstanding collaboration around MWC Barcelona, where the winner of our pitch event can showcase Dutch innovation internationally. We look forward to further collaboration, knowledge sharing and joint activities within the association.”

Together, NL@MWC, Ecosystem Services and Telecom Society look forward to strengthening connections across the Dutch telecom and digital ecosystem and creating new opportunities to showcase Dutch innovation on the international stage.

We look forward to welcoming you to Utrecht on 9 September.
